The 9th edition of Women’s Global Forum completed its work in Deauville, France. More than 1200 participants from 70 countries participated in the event.

The Women’s Forum Meetings aim to bring together leaders from all over the world – women and men – representing the business world, the government, academic circles, culture, etc. in order to give new perspectives to key issues in our present and our future; to create a powerful, global network in order to strengthen the influence of women throughout the world; to draw up innovative and concrete action plans to encourage women’s contribution to society and promote diversity in the business world.

In 2013 the Global Meeting was held under the name “The open world: Compete, cooperate, create”

For the first time in its history the Forum hosted the Russian delegation that included 57 people. The Russian delegation consisted of very high-profile women: most of them holding top or senior management positions in different Russian and multi-national companies, and NGO leaders. Many delegates who attended the sessions with the 'Russian' participation were really impressed by the high intellect, education, and professionalism of the Russian delegates. Five sessions of the Forum were focused mostly on various aspects of life in Russia. Anna Belova, Marina Malykhina and Elena Fedyashina participated in the Forum.
